We love taking learning beyond the classroom! Our optional field trips are a fun part of the Verde Valley Enrichment experience and are open to all enrolled students.
From local farms and museums to entertainment and science centers, these outings give kids a chance to explore, connect, and learn in real-world settings.

We have moved to a new location in Cottonwood!
Our newly redesigned academic enrichment program will now offer more support to homeschool families. We will continue with our loved and trusted engaging, hands-on learning activities. Still, now students will also study History through a four-cycle curriculum, study all major areas of Science with exciting STEAM activities, express their creativity through Arts & Crafts, and build confidence with practical Life Skills lessons.
And P.E. is back! Our semester-long Physical Education program gives students opportunities to stay active through sports, games, fitness, and team-building activities, promoting healthy habits, confidence, and teamwork. Together, these programs provide a well-rounded educational experience that complements homeschool learning by nurturing students academically, physically, socially, and creatively.

Writing & Grammar Program for students 7th-12th
Writing & Grammar (H.S. Credit)
Start date: September-April--Tuesdays 10:00-11:00
Location: Online Tuition Cost $225 (Semester) or $400 (Full Year)
Requirements: A book purchase, a Google account, and access to a computer.
This is an intensive writing program designed to help students dramatically improve their writing and grammar skills.
It is best suited for students who can compose a three- to five-paragraph essay and are fluent readers.
Weekly assignments will include completing one structured essay, with additional Writing & Grammar assignments.
To achieve the greatest benefit from this course, students should expect to complete approximately 4 hours of homework each week.
Literature Program for students 7th-12th
Literature Through Film (H.S. Credit)
Start date: September-April--Tuesdays 11:15-Noon
Location Online-Tuition Cost $175 (Semester) or $300 (Full Year)
Requirements: A book purchase, the borrowing, rental, or purchase of various classic films, a Google account, and access to a computer.
This will be a fun analysis of Literature through film. It is best suited for students who are fluent readers. Students will watch classic films at their convenience. They will learn all the major literary terms and their written applications via questions, discussions & written assignments.
To achieve the greatest benefit from this course, students should expect to complete approximately 3 hours of homework each week.
Math & Science Tutoring is available for all levels, including SAT prep.
Field Trips:$185 for the semester, per student with a chaperone
